Digital government services in the Canton of Glarus
Efficiency and standardization through intelligent online forms
Since its successful launch in September 2024, my.gl.ch has continuously evolved into the central hub for digital government services in the Canton of Glarus. With the current expansion, around 130 services are now available online. This expansion was also made possible by standardized, user-friendly aforms forms, which can be used by citizens and businesses anytime and anywhere.

A key component of the solution is the integration of the Swiss authority login AGOV, which allows users to securely identify themselves in full compliance with data protection guidelines. This login can be used by federal, cantonal, and municipal authorities. Thanks to new technology, a username or password is no longer required.
The modular architecture and consistent user guidance not only improve the user experience but also significantly reduce administrative workload. Over 6,000 digital applications have already been successfully processed since its launch in September 2024. At least 150 services are expected to be available digitally by the end of 2025.
By integrating aforms into our service portal, we can implement digital services in a short time and make them available in the portal.
