Tender won: e-government basic infrastructure

Together with our partner Gentics Software AG, we were awarded the contract for the "e-government basic infrastructure" tender by the cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Obwalden, Nidwalden and Schaffhausen (SSGI association).

We are pleased to announce that, together with our partner Gentics Software AG, we are participating in the public tender of the association SSGI (Association of Swiss Cities and Municipalities Informatics) for the basic e-government infrastructure for the cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Obwalden, Nidwalden and Schaffhausen were successful.

Our partnership was able to submit the best of a total of 7 offers submitted. aforms2web will be responsible for the form server in the project and will ensure the implementation of online forms.

The project goal is to offer numerous e-government offerings in the participating cantons and municipalities via central access. The solution will offer all relevant core functions for a basic e-government infrastructure from a single source, including digital proof of identity, passwordless login, online switch, document management and a user-friendly form solution to easily expand the digital offering.

The implementation of the E-Gov solution began in April in Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is scheduled to be completed there at the beginning of 2024. We are proud to be part of this innovative project and look forward to driving digitalization forward together with Gentics and the participating cantons and municipalities!

Appenzell Ausserrhoden is looking forward to using a proven solution that is already in use in 6 cantons. In addition to a professional appearance, synergies are also created among AFS customers, from which Appenzell Ausserrhoden and existing customers will benefit.
