The Lesser Tern (Sternula albifrons, syn.: Sterna albifrons) is a species of bird in the subfamily of terns (Sterninae) within the family of gull relatives (Laridae). It is one of the smallest terns and is mostly gray-white in color, with a black pattern on the head and a yellow beak during the breeding season, otherwise darker. The species' breeding area includes parts of Europe, North and West Africa, Asia, Australia and Oceania, where it lives exclusively in waters of various types.

The dwarf ant spiders (Synageles) form a numerically small genus within the family of jumping spiders (Salticidae), which belongs to the order of web spiders. The genus has a Holarctic distribution and is the only myrmecomorphic (ant-mimicking) spider that is restricted to this area. There, its species mainly inhabit grasslands, sometimes also other habitats (habitats).
