New in the AFS Community: City of Linz

We are delighted to welcome the city of Linz to our AFS community, joining Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, St. Pölten and Eisenstadt.

We are delighted to welcome the city of Linz, another provincial capital, to our AFS community alongside Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, St. Pölten and Eisenstadt. Back in December 2020, the city council and IKT-Linz approached us with the requirement to implement online form processes. This involved the rapid provision of forms for COVID-19 compensation payments.

It was important for the City of Linz to use a form system that provides interfaces that allow incoming application data to be immediately transferred as XML to the ELAK system in use. This means that continuous form processes without media discontinuity can be implemented right through to the backend.

Due to the cost-effective and fast implementation, further form processes, such as event forms or the form for applying for the Green Pass, were implemented in 2021.

These three pilot processes demonstrated the suitability of AFORMSOLUTION (AFS) for the requirements of the City of Linz. The City of Linz acquired a full AFS license at the end of 2021.

Thanks to AFS, employees of IKT-Linz are able to implement form processes quickly and easily without programming knowledge after just a short training period. This will further advance the digital transformation of the city administration.

The City of Linz is already planning to implement further form processes together with IKT-Linz, such as online building notification or pre-registration for childcare.

We are delighted to welcome the City of Linz to our AFS community and to be able to support them in their digital transformation!
